Shorter contract terms, increasingly complex multi-sourcing deals and new technologies have all converged, creating a whirlwind of needs for sourcing professionals. They are challenged with finding new approaches and developing new skills to assist with pre-outsourcing planning, complex outsourcing ecosystems and design of strong governance models. In this session a group of experienced senior leaders will introduce best practices and share their real-life experiences throughout the lifecycle of third party relationships as it relates to the three phases of outsourcing. Previous discussions in this series have focused on the first two phases of outsourcing: strategy and planning and sourcing. This session will be centered on the third phase, management and governance.
