Shorter contract terms, increasingly complex multi-sourcing deals and new technologies have all converged, creating a whirlwind of needs for sourcing professionals. They are challenged with finding new approaches and developing new skills to assist with the pre-outsourcing planning, complex outsourcing ecosystems and design of strong governance models. “Three bids and a buy” RFPs simply don’t work in this environment. A group of experienced senior leaders are developing new intellectual property for SIG members and the SIG Resource Center (SRC) that will accelerate learning and adoption of new skills for senior sourcing and procurement professionals.
