As procurement programs mature many of the traditional performance metrics and job descriptions will begin to change. This is specifically true at Bell where we are now being asked to complete and have responsibility for things that previously were not part of the Bell procurement mandate, here is a short list of area’s we are now involved in; Supplier Risk Management DPO and Dynamic discounting of payables Policy ownership Operational activities – Receipt capture for T&E, systems, employee experience Corporate responsibility (Conflict Minerals, Responsible procurement) Corporate security – New supplier risks, Cloud Directives Sox Requirements Supplier Diversity. The expectation is that we will continue to increase our influence and responsibility beyond a traditionally savings based measurement.
