• Proactive Stakeholder Alignment – never underestimate the value of internal “nemawashee”
• Strong Executive Sponsorship & Communication to level set organizational expectations and drive compliance to program policies/decisions
• Robust Program Governance Structure to serve as escalation point on key program issues and reinforce accountability at the stakeholder level
• Dedicated Day-to-Day Program Owner/Sponsor – Need a Single Point of Accountability
• Organizational leverage at the individual site locations to drive collaboration and compliance
• Better initial spend data visibility to drive project identification & prioritization
• Strong Finance involvement to validate project results and projected cash flow/budget impacts
• IT Resource Allocation & Prioritization is key – especially around SV and P2P
• Savings comes in bits and pieces. Takes a number of projects to drive savings…the big bang theory is a myth when it comes to indirect spend
