Original Inquiry
Our inquiry relates to the planning and execution of incentive trips to increase sales people motivation. I am looking for the following information:
1) Pricing: How does a pricing form for that type of incentive trip looks like? How are the costs broken down? What components are included in the pricing form (e.g. venue, food, drinks, travel, promotional material, equipment, etc.)? How is the supplier profit margin/management fees shown (fixed price, % of whole cost, % based on each price component, etc.)? Do you have examples of pricing sheets for incentive trip planning you can share?
2) Service Level Agreement: What are the service level components that can be included in a SLA? How can they be measured and if need be, how the credits can be applied if the supplier fails to meet the established SLA (example: percentage of overall event budget?) Any example of SLA you can share?
3) Profit margin: What are the standard profit margins from the event planning industry?
4) What are the most critical items to look for when outsourcing event planning (i.e. what would be the top evaluation criteria when selecting a vendor?)
5) Finally, would you have any RFP templates you could share that relate to event planning, specifically incentive trips?
