Shin-Wen Kuo, Senior Director, Global Procurement Customer Experience, Hewlett-Packard Company

Shin-Wen Kuo joined HP in 2008 and currently leads HP Global Procurement’s Customer Experience organization. In this role, she manages a team responsible for enabling HP’s Global Procurement organization to create exceptional customer experiences through fostering insight and advocacy, building new capabilities, and driving the communications strategy to build the brand.
Prior to joining HP, Shin-Wen served as Vice President of Professional Services at openQ, a privately held software company. She held executive leadership roles at Ariba and FreeMarkets responsible for strategy, business development and client services for Global 2000 customers. She established the London office for FreeMarkets and led teams through rapid growth, an IPO, and subsequent merger with Ariba. Earlier, Shin-Wen was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, advising clients across a variety of industries.
She received a B.S. magna cum laude in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and is fluent in English and Mandarin. Shin-Wen has been a guest lecturer at the London Business School and currently serves on the board of the Women’s Business Council Southwest. She has lived and worked in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
