This session will examine the principals, processes and technologies the company used to make its own business more efficient and effective, with a specific focus on the sourcing and contract management processes. Learn how Cardinal Health has streamlined and automated the contracting process for a system that manages thousands of contracts annually. Advanced sourcing technology has also facilitated a decrease in project cycle time by more than 50% and an increase penetration and savings in both indirect and direct materials. We will review the six year project that transformed Cardinal Health’s procurement operations by optimizing internal processes and technologies.
