There has been much discussed recently about the future of sourcing and the performance of outsourcing vendors in the marketplace. With this in mind, PA Consulting Group conducted a survey of CIOs to assess their perception on the effectiveness of their outsourcing relationships – and most importantly to determine what the key factors for success and failure were in the mind of CIOs. This session will share research findings about how CIOs rated the performance of their outsourcing vendors. It will also identify the key differentiators, which make the difference between those relationships that perform adequately and those that achieve excellence. Based on the research findings, the session will also present a sourcing success framework for successful outsourcing governance – and using examples share how important issues such as supplier collaboration in a multi-vendor environment can be made to work effectively.
