At Qantas we are consciously focussing on collaboration within the Group, our service partners and even governing bodies and the broader industry. The biggest challenge in this collaborative environment is communications and keeping all the stakeholders informed and up to date with the latest and most relevant information regardless of country or time of day. Implementing tools to keep on top of all of the moving parts was instrumental in the successes of various projects. In conjunction with the tools, the Supplier Relationship Management and Governance of these relationships had to be adjusted accordingly to compliment the business outcome. Taking the concept of “working better together” to a whole new level.
