The original value proposition associated with implementing a first generation managed services procurement program was focused on visibility into workforce, cost benefits and risk and compliance controls. As usage has increased and evolved, additional value is being realized by analyzing the real-time data that managed services programs now enable companies to easily access. In this session, presetners shared best practices for creating such a program, the various support levels of managing it and the impact of the funding models. By understanding how each of these components can affect your organization, and therefore allow you to make strategic decisions accordingly, you can build a managed services procurement program that contributes to the overall productivity and efficiency of your workforce and delivers positive business outcomes.

Topics covered in this session included:

  • How to create a program that is optimal for your organizational culture
  • How to understand the various program management support levels
  • How to give thorough consideration to the funding model
  • How to ensure a best-in-class implementation plan
