In this roundtable discussion, Jacob Metcalf, PhD and Benjamin Roome, PhD, founders of the Responsible AI consultancy Ethical Resolve and co-authors of “Responsible AI Governance for Sourcing Professionals“, will walk participants through advanced techniques in AI risk mitigation for supply chain professionals. Ben Roome, PhD, is a co-founder and consultant at Ethical Resolve, a consultancy that specializes in the ethics of AI and machine learning. Ethical Resolve has helped large companies, startups, investors and educational organizations to grow ethical capacity, build trust and avert risk since 2014. We help our clients to implement governance practices that scale as AI transformation progresses.

Jacob (Jake) Metcalf, PhD is a consultant and independent scholar specializing in data and technology ethics. His consulting firm, Ethical Resolve, provides clients with a complete range of ethics services, including establishing internal and external ethics committees, market-driven research and refining corporate messaging. Their goal is to ensure clients can make well-informed, consistent, actionable and timely business decisions that reflect their values. His scholarship in data ethics is recognized as influencing this nascent field, particularly around issues of research ethics policy and practice in academia and business.
