Today’s Procurement teams are expected to do more with less, deliver ever-increasing value to business teams by managing efficient operational processes, and serve as a partner on strategic initiatives. This facilitated roundtable will follow an open discussion format with questions to prompt a substantive discussion among participants of current and best practices. You will learn about what your industry peers are doing to maximize Indirect Procurement’s value in their specific organizations. Key topics for discussion will include:

  • Procurement team structures used to manage transactional procurements vs. partner on category management and other strategic sourcing projects
  • Policies, processes, and technology being used to balance the transactional procurement efficiency with cost savings and risk management requirements
  • Best practices used by category management/sourcing teams to engage with business to be more strategic in their approach
