During this presentation, Marc Escande, a consultant formerly head of the Procurement of a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management company, will explain the company’s journey towards a semi-globalized Procurement model, in which suppliers are managed globally but with formally differentiated capability and competitiveness ratings by geographical units. The presentation will in particular focus on the following elements: What was the rationale for developing this semi-globalized model? What were the main steps and key challenges associated to implementing this model? What benefits has the model managed to deliver?
