Historically, the Procurement department has “owned” the management of the external workforce, tracking the spend associated with contingent labor, project-based services, independent contractors and other talent pools. Fast-forward to 2015, and many companies are now realizing the benefits of collaborating more closely with HR.  Abbott will share how Procurement and HR must work together to achieve the visibility necessary to make strategic decisions across both its internal workforce and external workers and services.
