Company consolidations, acquisitions and mergers are becoming commonplace in today’s business environment. Often when these changes occur, multiple processes and systems for managing the external workforce and services procurement are brought together. If not managed properly, this can result in inefficiencies, duplications and confusion for your managers, suppliers and talent. Knowing this, it is essential that you consolidate under a single program in a purposeful, well-organized fashion. Union Bank navigated this process established consistency across its newly integrated organization and successfully streamlined its supplier base, reduced rates and discounts and saved over $4.5M.

Topics covered in this session included:

  • How to define the environment of multiple working programs, set realistic achievable goals and develop a roadmap
  • How to build support and identify who should be on your team of influencers (there WILL be change involved)
  • How to deal with supplier entitlement and setting up the ground rules
  • How to bring the new environment to operational status and set your benchmarks
