When Two Tribes Go to War: Keys to Successful Outsourcing

Sadly, most outsourcing relationships will either disappoint on some level, fail to deliver the business case or worse, flop entirely. Based on unique research, this presentation will address the root cause and how to fix the problem. The presenters will focus on the subtle cultural elements that lead to a tribal identity within organizations and the role leadership and relationship assurance can play in avoiding or resolving conflict that occurs when client and provider “tribes” work together. Session takeaways will include a new perspective on how business culture influences outsourcing relationships and practical insights into how to use cultural understanding to improve sourcing outcomes.
