Sourcing methodologies are like PCs ,With traditional approaches, companies have driven
value from the “easy” and straight forward categories ,However, existing business constraints prevent you from being able to execute a traditional sourcing process. An “Enterprise Profitability” approach to sourcing cost reduction is broader and more P&L focused .A variety of operational levers can drive tangible benefits in each opportunity area – in addition to pure sourcing. This new framework addresses strategic questions of operational capabilities, geography and footprint. Potential Sourcing opportunities in complex categories start with key questions and value theses, not process and unlock significant incremental value by addressing
complex incumbent supplier relationships.
