This session will examine how a national healthcare corporation prepared and identified a solution for a significant shortage of practitioners in an environment where costs for contingent labor were always growing and the organization faced challenges in care continuity and operational deficiencies. Without a solution, the organization was missing opportunities to leverage preferred vendors with favorable contract terms and rates, negotiate lower rates and more consistent practitioners and where multiple, undocumented processes existed. The ability to effectively manage not only contract terms, but quality of product, often resulting in unknown overpayment to vendors. Post-implementation the organization is now experiencing a reduction in spend year over year of 56% or just over $11M.
You will learn:
- Prepare for and identify a solution for managing contingent workforce
- Evaluate hundreds of contracts and vendors from multiple manual processes
- Assess Managed Service Provider vs. Vendor Management System; Vendor or Self-funded
- Implement and adopt across hundreds of locations and thousands of users
