Service provider capabilities and maturity have continued to increase over time and, even with some of the contradictory signs in the economy, so has interest in procurement outsourcing. Key drivers of this increase include the realities of growth in emerging economies, low availability of trained supply management professionals and the need to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in the supply chain.
