The contemporary Chief Procurement Officer (or procurement executive) is now tasked with the difficult goal of driving true value to the greater organization while weathering the effects of global economic uncertainty. Brian Hagaman, Business Consulting Services Leader, IBM Software Group, will discuss how the CPO role can be considered a “corporate champion” during uncertain economic times, as well as the strategies IBM has leveraged be a source of continued value within the IBM organization.
