In this session, the presenters will review the results of a survey KPMG conducted with Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) in 2013. SIG Global Sourcing Summit Delegates will hear several perspectives on evaluating, implementing and measuring Target Operating Models, which are used to maximize the effectiveness of Procurement functions globally. Traditional models were broadly categorized as Centralized, Center-led, and Decentralized. Increasingly, however, we are identifying alternative approaches driven by additional considerations. We will review models, criteria and drivers, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other measurements, a framework for target operating models as well as implications for transition.
