The sourcing community has long used the term “governance” when describing the process of managing supplier relationships. This session posits that governance is dead, and that buyers and suppliers should instead focus on jointly managing ach other in order to find areas of overlap in their respective value propositions. Anyone from either side of the table involved in supplier selection and management should attend this session in order to gain a different perspective on how to best manage relationships. The session will also look at the entire selection process and its impact on supplier management.
