Procurement transformation is a popular buzz-phrase these days. More and more organizations are looking to make a big step forward in procurement value delivery by radical reengineering of processes and operations. Software must be considered absolutely central to the transformation process. Technology no longer plays a supporting role in procurement and, thus, procurement transformation is digital transformation.
