Industry, scope, size and whether it is a first or second generation program, create complex dynamics when determining engagement models for independent contractors. This session focused on the experiences of two practitioners that had distinctly different needs in engaging independents. Whether an organization currently lacks a formal program or is looking to optimize an existing program, attendees heard how Ecolab and Cisco defined what a successful program should look like within their respective organizations. The presenters shared the key drivers and how they designed solutions that mitigated risk, optimized engagement processes and established foundations for program growth.
Topics covered in this session included:
- How to design a program that fits an organization’s needs
- How to engage key stakeholders
- How to implement and execute a program
