In an integrated global economy, supplier risk is your risk. In this session, attendees learned how to leverage purchasing power to improve visibility, remove questionable suppliers from a supply chain and lower the risk of negative publicity. Working together with SAP Ariba, Made In A Free World are hoping to help companies uncover the potential for slavery in their supply chains and take steps to mitigate it. By combining the Ariba Network with Made In A Free World’s FRDM database (Forced Labor Risk Determination and Mitigation), companies can gain insights from their suppliers – and from the suppliers’ suppliers.

Topics covered in this session included:

  • How to identify slavery in your supply chain by gaining more visibility into your suppliers
  • How to mitigate negative impacts on your business reputation
  • How to reduce risk exposure among your supply base
