Accessing the Talent You Need to Thrive in the New Era of Procurement

The future of procurement will look very different than what we see today.  In a world where the majority of tasks we do are semi or fully automated, CPO’s must shift their value proposition to remain relevant.  But that new value proposition requires new job roles and skill sets, most of which will be heavily in demand in an already constrained labor market.  In this session, we will explore what “talent” really is, how we can differentiate between hiring for a job vs. accessing expertise, and ways in which CPO’s can access the expertise they need, when they need it.

  • What does the expanded procurement value proposition look like?
  • How may this change the procurement job roles of the future and their associated skill sets?
  • What impact could this have on procurement organizational design?
  • Where can you find the talent that you need to execute and deliver on an expanded value proposition?
