This paper introduces the concept of supplier inclusion, primarily for a procurement and executive audience.

It explores supplier diversity’s rationale, and the impetus for companies and procurement to make a difference in directing dollars (spend) to small businesses, especially in underrepresented communities beyond well-intentioned but ineffective reporting requirements. The second paper in the series on supplier diversity and inclusion is about what we can all do to improve the world.
