David leads the centralized shared services center providing purchasing, strategic sourcing, contracts, supplier management, and accounts payable to the UMass system and oversees approximately $1billion in annual non-personnel spending for the system. He has over 3 decades of experience in strategy and operations management both as a private/public company leader and as lead consultant with major services providers (Deloitte, KPMG, AT Kearney, etc.). He is the former Global Head of Sourcing and Vendor Management at BlackRock, the World’s largest Asset Management Firms.
