Stephani McGarry, a seasoned leader with over 25 years of diverse management consulting experience, currently serves as the Chief Engagement Officer at SIG. In this role, she oversees SIG’s Global Executive Summits and a range of in-person and virtual programs, including one-day educational programs, executive forums, webinars, and podcasts. With a background in event management and program development, Stephani is responsible for the strategic direction, financial management, content curation, and daily operations and activities involved in managing SIG’s events.
Before joining SIG’s executive team over thirteen years ago, Stephani spent five years as an independent consultant, where she organized a National User’s Conference for a privately funded IT development company. Prior to that, she contributed to the program development efforts at BenefitPoint (now Vertafore), an early-stage IT company. Stephani began her career at IBM and Accenture, gaining experience in program development and sales engineering.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Stephani is dedicated to community engagement, serving on multiple non-profit boards and is presently a board member for a local children’s museum. She actively supports causes related to children, education, and women’s issues. Stephani holds a dual BA in Psychology and Sociology with a focus on Business Administration from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
