Mike has spent the last 20 years at Cigna in roles throughout Procurement and Finance. His 14 years in Procurement span risk, spend analytics, supplier diversity, P2P, category management and strategic sourcing positions. He currently leads a team responsible for the Business Process Outsourcing, Consulting, Print, Shipping & Packaging and Real Estate categories. Previous roles in Finance include controllership, pricing, mergers & acquisitions, and leading a career development program. Prior to Cigna, Mike worked at Eli Lilly & Company and started his career in the U.S. Coast Guard. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill. He is married (for 30 years) and has two adult children – and a very large English Mastiff named Tundra.
