Typically, companies only go to the market for IT Services when they near the end of the incumbent vendor’s contract term. However, taking a maverick approach and doing a sourcing event in the MIDDLE of a contract term can significantly increase cost savings, drive innovation, improve service efficiencies, and significantly improve vendor performance. This presentation will outline five reasons companies should consider performing an IT Services Sourcing Event in the middle of their current contract term and potential tactical and strategic outcomes. This presentation will also address key strategic approaches to performing these activities and their dos and don’ts.
