End to End Procurement Transformation at Highspot, by Julia Braun, Director, Enterprise Procurement, Highspot

This presentation will provide insight into two strategic initiatives underway at Highspot aimed at streamlining corporate operations—one for Corporate Card, Travel, and Expense Management and the other for Procurement Source-to-Pay (S2P) Orchestration. In the Corporate Card, Travel, and Expense Transformation, Highspot has eliminated its corporate travel booking platform and intends to eliminate expense reporting, replacing both with the Ramp corporate card platform implemented this year. This shift is designed to reduce costs, automate expense management with AI-based tools, and enhance user experience by allowing employees to independently book travel and streamline expense reimbursement. The changes are expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work for Accounts Payable, and enhance compliance through automated controls. The Procurement Source-to-Pay Initiative addresses inefficiencies in the current procurement process, which involves manual workflows, multiple disconnected applications, and limited reporting. The initiative will see Highspot implementing a new S2P orchestration tool to centralize procurement intake, sourcing, contracting, PO issuance, invoice match and payment with automated workflows, improved vendor onboarding and management, and enhanced reporting capabilities. The selected S2P tool is expected to reduce operational costs, improve cycle times, and consolidate the procurement and AP tech stack, ultimately enhancing the procurement process across Highspot. Both initiatives share a common goal: to introduce automation, reduce operational inefficiencies, and improve user experience, while also cutting costs and ensuring scalability for future growth.
