Associate Vice President, Head of Third Party Risk Management TD Bank
Chris joined TD Bank in May of 2010, and has held a variety of procurement oriented roles, including his current role as Global Head of Third Party Risk Management. In his current role, Chris and the rest of the Third Party Risk team are accountable for the Third Party Risk Management Policy, Framework and the associated standards that support the operationalization of how TD assesses and managed third party risk. The team is currently working to increase the overall maturity across TD with respect to consistent execution against the program, and looking for ways to increase data intelligence in an effort to proactively identify areas of concern within TD's supply chain. Prior to joining TD, Chris worked in the oil and gas industry having held a variety of roles within the Downstream division at Petro-Canada (Suncor) and the music industry within publisher relations. Chris graduated from McMaster University and holds a degree in Economics. He resides in Toronto, ON where he lives with wife and two children. Outside of work, Chris is an avid skier and water sports enthusiast. He can be found most weekends either on the water during the summer, or on a ski hill in the winter, when he's not taking his children to their various activities.
