This session is for leadership within a Procurement organization who are interested in learning about a peer organization’s transformation journey involving people, process, and tools. In 2017/2018, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) embarked on a Procurement transformation which began with implementing a suite of e-Procurement Software. There were many lessons learned in this endeavor, and a subsequent relaunch and new journey forward occurred in 2019/2020. This session will discuss what was done, what was learned, what should have been done differently, where the organization is now, and what it took to get there. Ultimately attendees of this session will take away lessons in what not to do, receive recommendations on what to do and in what order, and gain insights into mitigating ongoing challenges.
