Many people think that leadership is a given once you have a certain title. But it’s not the manager-or-higher title that makes you a leader…that’s only the beginning. What matters most is what comes next. Becoming a true leader requires that you build trust, develop talent and understand how to make the whole team greater than the sum of the parts. In this session, panelists from diverse industries and backgrounds shared their journey to management and their thoughts on leadership.

Topics covered in this session included:

  • What changes to expect on day one of your new role as a leader
  • How to hire and retain the right talent How to build trust with your team
  • How to give and receive feedback
