Original Inquiry

We are interested in knowing what other companies are doing around consulting. What are some strategies for managing this category? We are a consumer product company with multiple business units. With multiple business units come many challenges especially in services areas such as consulting. We currently do not have a structured sourcing system around consulting at the enterprise level. This is partly due to business units not having visibility to other business units’ consulting activities. However, strategic sourcing group has visibility, so we are trying to strategize how we can manage this spend category better.
