The Law Department has been one of the slowest adopters of metrics or dashboards to monitor and manage its operational efficiency. In this session, Mindcrest will present results from a recent legal department survey (staffing, spending and compensation metrics) which will be followed by a case study providing insights into the usefulness of different departmental measurements and third party performance. Specifically, the presenter will discuss the results of some recent experiences and key performance reporting/metrics that the US Foods law department is using to benchmark and assess value, efficiency, and quality of services delivered.
