Procurement Category Manager (Professional Services) – Contract

KPMG is working through its partnership with Magnit and is currently seeking a remote Procurement Category Manager contractor based in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and support the Contingent Labor and Non-IT Professional Services Procurement team with source to contract and supplier management activities
  • Ensure compliance to applicable sourcing and contracting procedures and attention to detail is a must
  • Negotiate with suppliers and work with legal, compliance partners, and business stakeholders to execute contracts in a timely manner while adding additional value via savings or preferred contractual terms
  • Assist with contingent labor supplier performance management and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent related work experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management in the indirect procurement/professional services sourcing space
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; master’s degree from an accredited college/university is preferred (MBA or other relevant degree/certification highly desirable)
  • Strong ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with suppliers, project team members, project sponsors, functional leads, and senior management in a strategic and tactical manner
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks, RFXs, and contract negotiations simultaneously; demonstrated analytical, financial, and problem-solving skillsets; organizational and project management skills, including stakeholder management and meeting facilitation
  • Solid MSFT Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a must; familiarity with procurement technologies available in the marketplace today (Coupa & Beeline) nice to have
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt one’s approach depending on the audience such as executive, analyst, peer, and more

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including market data, ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), and specific location, for example. Additionally, applicants may be required to apply and become employed by a service provider utilized by KPMG, and final pay rate(s) and/or eligibility for additional benefits may be determined by such provider.

$54 – $64 hourly (USD)
